When visiting a web site, some java code is being executed in the background of the web page without your knowledge. This automatic code execution is very dangerous if you are visiting a site that has malicious content. This is one way people are getting their computers infected with junk and virus.

If you have firefox noscript, it will block the flash content and you can allow the content by allowing temporary or permanently if the site is trusted.

You can download the firefox extension by visiting the website http://noscript.net/ and clicking on the download button. You can also click on the add-on in the tool menu of firefox.
